Here are a bunch of job search resource links that we have compiled over the years. Make sure you have a great resume before you apply because there are usually quite a few applicants.
An applicant tracking system (ATS), such as Kronos or CareerPlug, will accept your resume on behalf of the company to which you are applying. If your resume meets a certain percentage of the criteria, your resume will be sent on to the next round. And, if you make it far enough, a real person will see your resume. So, your resume has to look good too; It can’t just be a keyword dumping ground.
Undoubtedly before your interview, a hiring manager will run your name through an internet search, and will specifically look for your LinkedIn profile. If your profile isn’t All-star status, or if your URL still has a slew of letters and numbers at the end, I can help.
When your LinkedIn profile is working for you, and your resume has a good chance at making it through the ATS while also looking fantastic to a hiring manager, you can start applying with confidence.
